  1. Hi everybody. This is Pip’s dad. We are having a great time in Ecuador and we’re learning a lot of Spanish. We will be sending you updates and hopefully some pictures soon!

  2. Dear Friends,
These are the Spanish words I’ve learned: avioncitos (It has an accent on the first “O”)= airplane keychains, fotos = photos, necesitas = you need, bueno = good, malo = bad, Estoy chistoso = I’m a jokester, Puedo beber el agua? = Can I have some water? (At the beginning it has an upside down question mark), Pelicula = movie ( It has an accent on the “I”), Pelota = ball, Grande = Large, and Pequeno = Small.

I will send you more updates about my trip.

    Your friend, Pip

  3. Three things that surprised me in Ecuador were: The mountain is big, I saw a palm tree when we first left to our rental house, and We had a very fast car ride through the mountains and curves.

P.S. Olivia was right about palm trees in Ecuador. High five to you Olivia!
    Your friend,
    Pip
